ANSWERS
1. How is inflammation and pain related to the immune system?
The body makes chemicals like cortisol (from the adrenal glands), which is your body’s way of decreasing inflammation and pain. If the immune system is weak, the adrenals may not be able to balance the hormone levels and this results in increased inflammation. The result is pain, inflammation, allergies, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, and other symptoms.
2. How are skin rashes related to the immune system?
Some causes of rashes can be: virus, bacteria, fungus, parasites, and allergy that may be found effecting the intestines. By first eradicating the underlying cause and then by strengthening the immune system (including the adrenal glands), chronic rashes can often be alleviated or eliminated.
3. How are allergy, asthma, and bronchitis related to the immune system?
Allergies are giving you a signal that your immune system is weak. The first step is to find the underlying cause of the weakness in the immune system. The major part (70%) of the first line of the immune system is located in the intestinal tract. This is where we look first first for weaknesses. The immune system in the intestinal tract is related to the lung problems. Symptom relief and allergy elimination can occur when the weak body systems are strengthened, followed by allergy clearing techniques (see Allergy Elimination button).
4. How is fatigue related to the immune system?
When the immune system is weakened, it takes a lot of energy resources for the body to regain balance. In the process the body can become fatigued. Sleep patterns may also be disturbed.
5. How do I know if my immune system is weak?
If you have symptoms such as recurrent viruses, rashes, colds, flu’s, bacterial, fungal, and/ or parasitic infections, allergies, fibromyalgia, inflammation, pain, and/or fatigue, your immune system is weak. In-office and Specialized Lab testing can tell us how weak and also gives clues as to what needs to be strengthened to correct the problem.
6. If I already have an autoimmune disease, can it be reversed?
It is different for each individual. Lifestyle and diet changes, along with the natural remedies work well to promote healing. Many times patients have had reversals of long-term diseases when their immune system is strengthened. The treatment program dramatically improves the body's ability to heal.
7. I’ve tried all kinds of natural treatments, why would this work any better for my problem?
In the past your treatment may have consisted of only symptom relief. At Pathway to Health we uncover the core of the problem and use corrective care to help the body to heal and strengthen naturally.
8. My fatigue comes from insomnia. Can insomnia be related to the immune system?
Yes. The liver, adrenals, and hormone system have to work much harder when there is a toxic load on the body (pathogens and immune weakness.) Organ systems may be overloaded and cause chemical imbalances that cause insomnia. When you sleep the body is in its healing mode, but if you have insomnia your body does may not get enough rest to heal. Our corrective care treatment helps the body to get out of this cycle and strengthens the immune system.
